To date, money raised for The Yoke Memorial Tournament has been given to:
- The Challenger Baseball League in Fort Myers, Florida. The Challenger Baseball League was established to serve kids who cannot play in normal recreational baseball leagues due to a physical and/or mental disability. Challenger Baseball has its own division inside the Little League program. Fort Myers is where many of the participants in this tournament met and still play in baseball tournaments throughout the year. The Challenger Baseball game is always part of the agenda for the players when they visit Fort Myers for the Wooden Bat Classic Tournament.
- Oyler Elementary School: this is where Yoke went to school and donated much of his time to the school over the years. Oyler has used the money to purchase new cheerleading uniforms in 2009.
- We have also made a 5-year commitment to the school for equipment and uniforms and also to hopefully help them implement a boy’s baseball program.
